Is the Internet safe from BGP yet? No.

But do YOU have a safe option?

The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is a three decade old protocol. It is used for discovering some of the available paths that data could travel through the Internet and mostly picks the cheapest route.

Unfortunately, it is not secure, and there are daily Internet disruptions as a result, some of them major. But fortunately there is a more secure technology called SCION.

SCION is a secure inter-domain protocol and network architecture, providing security from the ground up.

Check if your network already provides access to SCION:

Your IP address is . The subnet is announced by the AS(es) .
It seems you do not yet have access to SCION. Try contacting your network provider to request enabling SCION in the future.
The following entity you are connected with has a SCION allocation: .
